A dialogue between Salam (myself) and Kalam (my friend) about the merits and demerits of using a mobile phone.
Salam: Oh, Antu, what a marvelous ring tone you’ve set on your mobile phone!
Kalam: Thanks. A mobile phone is, indeed, a great source of entertainment.
Salam: I also think so. But only entertainment? Nothing else?
Kalam: Of course. A mobile phone is second to none as an easy, cheap, and speedy mode of communication.Salam: Anything else?
Kalam: Moreover, messaging and internet systems have been included in it.
Salam: I appreciate your opinion. But don’t you find any demerits of this modern device? Antu: Yes, indeed. Experts say that this is harmful to our hearing and brain.
Kalam: Anything else?
Salam: Besides, they strictly warn the using of a mobile phone for the children.
Kalam: Then what would you say finally?
Salam: Despite some demerits, we cannot but use a mobile phone in modern times. All that I can say is to use it with much care and only as a necessity. What do you think?
Kalam: I’ve also some view. Actually, its merits are much more than its demerits. But we mustn’t neglect its demerits.
Salam: Right you are. If we are careless about the demerits, we’ll have to suffer from various problems.
Kalam: I agree with you. Thank you very much.
Salam: Thank you, too.
